Stop Press: New Data Reveals MCKEP Success @ Coventry Half

Further analysis of data utilising the latest techniques in pseudoscience have shown that Sunday’s effort was unquestionably a resounding success for the McCarkiss Elite Athletes.

On first appearances the race data could be easily be interpreted that the MCKEP pair of tits athletes failed to hit their 5:45/mi target pace, but thanks to the enigma of GAP calculations courtesy of Strava – it turns out that the 10mi split of 58:26 (5:51/mi pace) was in fact a 10mi split of 57:27 (5:45/mi pace); versus a target of 57:30 (5:45/mi pace)

The McCarthy and Simkiss have been applauded for their incredible ability to calculate “Grade Adjusted Pace” whilst mid-run and to have come in within a 3 second range of target on such a stupid course is simply phenomenal.

To ensure transparency and accuracy of information, a complete and comprehensive breakdown of the data can be seen below.
