A major re-shuffle has taken place backstage at the ‘elite project to take the stress and strain of the current blog team, and allow Simkiss and McCarthy more time to train.
Following recent journalistic success for the project – we’re delighted to welcome to the team a man who is well known by most runners already, Lou Stools. Lou submitted his first post for us yesterday: McCarkiss & Friends: Abingdon Marathon 2014 – “FOTP” Chris Jordan Takes on the World’s Fastest Clown
Unfortunately our other journalist on trial, Ivor Smallcock, failed to satisfy McCarthy’s needs… so a replacement has been bought in. He’s a good guy and not a bad runner – he fits in well with the style of the MCKEP blog team, often being slightly inappropriate… Hugh Jardon will be around for team outings and also staying close to McCarthy when the athletes attend races independently. Simkiss will have Lou Stools to accompany him on race days.
